WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
Saval Continues to Give Back—Just Like in Previous Years, Now Through Member Benefits
- > Reimbursement: Saval covers 50% of registration or $75, whichever is lower
- > Eligible Events: Non-Saval athletic, fitness, and wellness events run by non-profits
- > Purpose: Encourages an active lifestyle for members
- > Impact: Supports non-profits through member participation
- > Qualified Events: Non-Saval events that meet pre-approved criteria established by Saval for eligibility.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
- > Membership: Must be a current member by Oct 31, 2026
- > Participation: Must be a participant in Saval listed Annual Challenge(s)
- > Claims: One qualified event per year eligible for reimbursement
- > Proof of Participation: Submit proof of participation or completion in accordance with Saval’s guidelines. Check the guidelines below in the procedures
> Penalty Dues: Members must be fully settled and in good standing, with all past and current penalty dues paid, including those due by Dec 31 of the previous year.
HOW DO I APPLY?
- > Apply: Application should be received from within Oct 1–31, 2026. Any submissions before Oct 1 or after Oct 31 will be considered invalid and discarded
- > Submit Details: Members must email event info to events.admin@saval.org (Each Member gets to
- > Late Submissions: Late or application received before the window, or incomplete application claims will not be considered
- > Submit Details: Members must keep their event participation details and should email the same registration details email events.admin@gmail.com. The details required are as follows (Sub: Event Participation – <Name>) :
- > Mandatory: Event Registration confirmation (Receipts)
- > Mandatory: Proof of Participation (Photos, preferably with Saval T/Hat)
- > Optional: Completion Certificate (if provided)
- > Zelle Number / Paypal ID
- > Review Process: Saval will review the claim within 30 business days after the closing date and issue compensation or donation offsets, subject to policy compliance.
- > Qualified List: Published Dec 6–10, 2026
LIMITATIONS:
- > Members may submit a maximum of one (1) qualified event per calendar year for reimbursement.
- > Compensation is limited to the lesser of 50% of the registration fee or $75 per event.
- > Events with registration costs below $40 are not eligible for reimbursement.
- > Saval reserves the right to adjust or cap reimbursements if the total qualified claims exceed the designated offset budget approved by the board. (To be announced on Jan 10, 2026)
- > Dues: Members should have paid all penalty dues by Dec 5.
- > Note: Saval retains the right to determine eligibility, reimbursement amounts, and event qualification status at its sole discretion
EXCLUSIONS:
The following are not eligible for reimbursement:
- > For-profit or commercial events where proceeds do not support a charitable or community cause.
- > Virtual-only events without a physical participation requirement.
- > Informal group activities, club practices, or training sessions.
- > Events unrelated to athletics, fitness, or wellness.
- > Any event deemed inconsistent with Saval’s mission or community standards.
- > Saval’s organized events are excluded.
> Members who have received exemptions from penalty payments—whether by withdrawing from annual challenges or reporting injuries—are ineligible for benefits in the following year
